Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supervising kitchen staff, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

Supervise and lead kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards. Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock for food preparation. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train new kitchen employees on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Develop menus in collaboration with senior management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements where necessary to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of cooks and kitchen staff. In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and food safety regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Passion for cooking and creating exceptional dishes that delight customers. Previous experience in bartending is a plus but not essential.
