We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Oversee meal preparation and food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with the catering team to plan menus and coordinate special events or functions. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Assist in cooking and serving when required, demonstrating hands-on culinary skills. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or restaurant environment. Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation and food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with other departments. Previous catering experience is an advantage but not essential. A passion for cooking and delivering high-quality meals.
