Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences Manage food production processes, including inventory control and ordering supplies Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance skills and promote teamwork Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements for efficiency and quality Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain a positive working environment that encourages creativity and professionalism

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary environment Extensive food production and preparation skills Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities Deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations Exceptional cooking skills with a flair for presentation Previous experience in fine dining restaurant or hospitality settings is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Effective communication skills to lead and motivate staff effectively
