ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Kitchen Porter, you will:
Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas, including pot wash, floors, fridges, and storage areas
Wash pots, pans, utensils, crockery, and cutlery, ensuring equipment is ready for service
Operate the dishwasher and manage kitchen waste and recycling correctly
Follow cleaning schedules, COSHH guidelines, and food safety procedures
Support deep cleaning of equipment and kitchen areas as required
Replenish cleaning materials and consumables
Assist the kitchen team when needed and follow direction from senior chefs
ABOUT YOU
Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Able to remain calm and organised during busy periods
Willing to learn and follow hygiene and safety standards
Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential -- full training will be provided
