Summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our new South Indian restaurant in Aberdeen. This role is essential for maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and supporting our culinary team in delivering high-quality dishes. Your contributions will help us create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as needed. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to. Help with stock management and inventory control. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong understanding of food hygiene practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
