Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking as directed by the kitchen team Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use Support chefs with basic culinary tasks to enhance workflow during busy periods Help with receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during meal times

Requirements

Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting will be considered a plus Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent hospitality service Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
