Duties
Assist with food preparation and ensure all ingredients are ready for use by chefs.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper labelling and stock rotation.
Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained in good working order.
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in regular cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
A passion for food preparation and an interest in culinary practices.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure setting.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
