Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained. Support the team during busy service periods by assisting with any additional tasks as required. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

A strong interest in hospitality and culinary arts, with a willingness to learn from experienced chefs. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively during busy service times. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. A proactive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen and contributing to a positive working atmosphere.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
