Welcome to Bolt Deli Belfast

We're open Monday to Saturday, 8am-4pm, and we're looking for an energetic Kitchen Porter to join our fast-paced, high-performing team.

We currently have two KPs on rota daily and are now hiring for a 4-5 day position -- perfect for someone who loves being part of a busy kitchen and takes pride in keeping things spotless and running smoothly.

Job Overview

As a Kitchen Porter at Bolt Deli, you'll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency that keeps our kitchen running at its best. You'll work closely with our chefs and kitchen team to ensure every service hits the high standards we're known for.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who's passionate about food, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow within Belfast's leading New York-style deli.

Key Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and organised at all times Support chefs with basic food prep and service tasks when required Help receive and store deliveries correctly Follow health & safety and food hygiene standards Communicate with the team to ensure smooth service throughout the day Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Head Chef immediately
What We're Looking For

Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred (but not essential) Strong work ethic and reliability -- we're a busy deli, teamwork matters! Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Ability to work well under pressure and maintain attention to detail Basic understanding of food prep or kitchen operations is a plus
