Responsibilities

Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and thoroughly Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the culinary team Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to meet health and safety standards Organising storage areas for ingredients, utensils, and cleaning supplies Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring all necessary items are readily available Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies Ensuring a tidy and organised work environment to facilitate smooth kitchen operations

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, or culinary techniques is advantageous Experience working in a busy kitchen or serving environment will be beneficial Familiarity with health and safety standards within a hospitality setting is preferred A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role
