Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, supporting culinary staff, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Duties

Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold hygiene standards Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised throughout shifts Supporting the storage of ingredients and supplies in designated areas Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations Restocking supplies and ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order Adhering to all health and safety policies within the kitchen environment Supporting serving staff during busy periods by preparing basic food items or clearing tables as needed

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is desirable Experience in customer service or serving roles within hospitality environments is a plus Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to food handling and kitchen hygiene is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
