The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary staff by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained.
Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes, pots, and pans promptly after use.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are stored correctly after use.
Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation.
Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Assist in maintaining an efficient workflow within the kitchen to enhance productivity.
Experience
A keen interest in culinary arts or food preparation is preferred.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
