At Boysterous Burgers we are searching for a KP. We are located within the Fountainhead pub in the famous Brighton Laines. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that all areas are clean, organised, and efficient. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for food preparation and a desire to learn more about the culinary arts within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Support chefs during busy service periods by providing timely assistance. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. A passion for hospitality and a desire to work as part of a team. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
