We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring a clean and efficient working environment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary field, whether you have prior kitchen experience or are eager to learn.

SALARY + TIPS combined between 14-16.5 ph , paying weekly

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed Help with the delivery of food items to various areas within the establishment Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff Participate in stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous Experience in restaurants, hotels, or culinary settings is highly desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service to guests Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required

Pay: 12.21-14.65 per hour
