As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary staff by ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies. Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain recycling practices within the kitchen.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary work is key. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
