We are currently recruiting for a

Kitchen Porter

to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Cambridge CB23 7UE.


This is a permanent position, wokring Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm, 35 hours a week.

We're looking for a reliable

Kitchen Porter

to join our busy catering team. The site serves around 120 staff daily for breakfast and lunch, so you'll play a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. Duties include washing up pots, plates, and utensils throughout the day, maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment (including ovens and fryers), and assisting with some general food preparation. A good work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Have experience working in a similar role and environment Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy Have excellent customer service and social skills Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 4 Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
