We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Cambridge CB4

This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, 6.30am to 3.00pm

As our

Kitchen Porter

you will play a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. Your main duties will include clearing and washing all crockery and cutlery using the dishwashers, pan washing, and keeping both the kitchen and front-of-house areas clean and tidy. You'll also assist with a small amount of food preparation, as well as sweeping and mopping floors to maintain high standards of hygiene. You will put away deliveries for the kitchen as part of your day to day duties.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Have experience working in a similar role and environment Be organised and comfortable working in a busy kitchen Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy Have excellent customer service and social skills Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team Work tidily Have basic food knowledge Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
