We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain a clean dining environment Support food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and basic ingredient handling Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing Help with general food handling duties in accordance with safety standards Assist with catering and banquet setups, including organizing supplies and ensuring timely service Support cooking activities as directed by senior kitchen staff Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Contribute to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house staff

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques Strong work ethic with attention to detail and organization skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 28 per week
