About the Role:

We're looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. This is a part-time, daytime role working

Monday to Friday

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary field, whether in a hotel, restaurant, or other hospitality settings.

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during peak service times by providing assistance where needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a busy hospitality setting. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Hours:

Approx. 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime shifts only
In addition to hourly wage, monthly tips are shared with all staff
