Duties
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
Help with the storage and inventory of food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation.
Clean kitchen equipment and utensils to uphold hygiene standards.
Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential.
A keen interest in food preparation and culinary processes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
