Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by providing necessary items and maintaining an efficient workflow. Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the kitchen environment. Help with the storage of food items and supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation. Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic workspace.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A passion for food and cooking with an eagerness to learn about culinary practices. Experience in restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration with colleagues. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the kitchen operation.
