We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and organisation while assisting with food preparation tasks.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help organise the kitchen by keeping workstations tidy and stocked with necessary supplies. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as required. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential. A keen interest in food preparation and culinary practices. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.
