The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in supporting our culinary staff by ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, ensuring all food items are washed, peeled, and chopped as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations. Follow all food safety guidelines to maintain a hygienic working environment. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering high-quality service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
