Duties
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained.
Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling practices are followed.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and assist in basic maintenance as required.
Support the culinary team during busy service periods by helping with various tasks to ensure timely food delivery.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Strong organisational skills with an ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
