Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking. Help maintain stock levels by cleaning and organising storage areas, including fridges and freezers. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times. Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks as required. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create a harmonious working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, such as in hotels or restaurants, is advantageous but not essential. A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the hospitality sector. Willingness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 7.50-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
