We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic
Kitchen Porter
to join our lively team in a fast-paced hospitality setting. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in supporting the kitchen team by helping to keep things clean, organised and running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about the hospitality industry, especially those with an interest in food preparation and kitchen work.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
Support chefs with basic prep tasks as needed to help improve overall kitchen efficiency.
Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored after use.
Assist with waste disposal and recycling in line with health and safety guidelines.
Support the chefs during busy service periods when necessary.
Follow all hygiene, food safety and health & safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred, but not essential -- willingness to learn is more important.
A strong work ethic and the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A genuine interest in kitchen practices and food preparation.
A proactive, helpful attitude and a willingness to support others when needed.
