We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service, contributing to the overall guest experience. Responsibilities
Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure a safe and organised kitchen environment.
Support the restocking of supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
Assist with organising storage areas and ensuring all items are stored correctly.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or contamination.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Familiarity with food preparation or kitchen routines is advantageous.
Experience in serving or culinary roles can be beneficial for understanding kitchen workflows.
