Incontri Dunfermline is looking for a kitchen porter to join our busy kitchen team.
Will consider part-time or full-time
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
- Ensure all food items are properly stored and labeled.
- Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel kitchen is desirable.
- Familiarity with culinary terminology and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
As a Kitchen Porter, your primary responsibility will be to assist the kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals in a clean and safe environment.
