We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating when necessary. Handle waste disposal in accordance with health and safety regulations. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with stock rotation and inventory management as required.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous. Basic food preparation skills, with an understanding of culinary techniques preferred. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team. A passion for hospitality and delivering excellent service to guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
