Duties
Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking and service.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly.
Keep work surfaces clean and organised to promote a safe working environment.
Support chefs during service by fetching ingredients and assisting with basic cooking tasks.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is preferred.
A passion for cooking and hospitality is highly valued.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
