Kitchen Porter - Family-Run Restaurant (Portobello / Leith)
We are a friendly, family-run restaurant looking for a
Kitchen Porter
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the kitchen who is eager to learn more, take on basic food preparation tasks, and grow their skills in cooking.What we're looking for:
Previous experience as a kitchen porter or in a similar role. Willingness to learn and assist with basic cooking and food prep. Problem-solving attitude and ability to work well under pressure. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliability and flexibility to work across two restaurants (7 minutes by car / 12 minutes by bus apart).
What we offer:
12.50 per hour. Excellent tips - last month, each team member earned around 700 in tips, depending on hours worked. A supportive, family-style work environment with opportunities to grow.
