Gourmet Grocer & Cafe - Kitchen Porter (12.21/hour + Benefits) - Part Time

Gourmet Grocer forms part of the Cassidy Hospitality Group of businesses. Due to the opening of its new Cafe, a part-time position has become available.

Overview:

To contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen. The role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry and food preparation.

Duties:

- Assist in basic food preparation tasks to support the kitchen team
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure the kitchen remains organised and tidy
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help colleagues
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
