We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities



Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Support the kitchen team by cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards. Organise storage areas to ensure all items are stored safely and correctly. Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to uphold hygiene standards. Support the overall organisation of the kitchen environment to facilitate smooth service during busy periods. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Basic understanding of food hygiene practices is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Good organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary preparation and hospitality operations. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends.
