Duties

Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients Support chefs with cooking tasks as directed, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness during service Maintain high standards of hygiene by washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils promptly and thoroughly Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe in compliance with health and safety regulations Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment to uphold hygiene standards required by health authorities

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene practices is beneficial Experience serving customers or working within a hospitality setting can be an asset but is not essential Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and attention to detail
