We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. Responsibilities
Wash, clean, and sanitise all kitchen utensils, equipment, and surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff.
Ensure the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, workstations, and storage spaces.
Organise and store clean crockery, cutlery, and kitchen supplies efficiently.
Support the team during service periods by managing dishwashing duties promptly.
Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain a tidy workspace at all times to promote safety and efficiency within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous.
Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and hygiene practices is preferred.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
