Playtopia is looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone taking their first steps into kitchen work and looking to develop practical experience in a fast-paced food environment.
Availability Requirements (Essential)
Full availability every weekend
Full availability during school holidays
Occasional weekday shifts may be available, but these are rare
Our opening hours are 9:30am - 7pm (so no late nights!)

Key Responsibilities
Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen at all times
Cleaning floors, surfaces, and food preparation areas to a high standard
Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
Progressing over time to assist with food preparation, including:
Using fryers
Assembling paninis, wraps, loaded fries, and similar items
Requirements
Able to work on your feet for extended periods
Good timekeeping and reliability are essential
Able to speak, read, and write English fluently
Willingness to learn and follow food hygiene and safety procedures
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
No formal experience needed
