Responsibilities

Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients. Supporting the kitchen team with organisational duties such as restocking supplies and maintaining storage areas. Ensuring the kitchen area is kept clean and tidy throughout the shift, including floors, work surfaces, and waste disposal. Assisting with the setup and breakdown of service areas before and after shifts. Adhering to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous. Experience working in a busy kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
