We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. Duties
Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff
Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored
Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to comply with health and safety standards
Support with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies
Help with organising stock deliveries and checking inventory levels as required
Support the team during service hours by ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-maintained
Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, or culinary techniques is advantageous
Experience with serving or working within a hospitality environment will be considered a plus
Familiarity with kitchen operations and maintaining cleanliness standards is beneficial
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills within the culinary industry is highly valued
