Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Inn South Stainley in the beautiful countryside. This role is vital in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our mission of providing memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently. Support chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met. Help organize kitchen inventory and supplies. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and teamwork mentality. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. Flexibility to assist in various kitchen roles as needed.
