Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness throughout service. Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support the cooking team during service by providing timely assistance as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to ensure freshness of ingredients. Assist in maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills would be advantageous. Experience in hospitality settings is a plus, showcasing an understanding of service standards. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are highly valued. HOURS WE ARE LOOKING FOR: (WE ARE CLOSED MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS)

This role is mainly evening and weekend work. kitchen closing times are different on different days so it depends on what time it's closed and cleaned down by. it shouldn't take no longer than a hour and half to close so looking for 11:30pm finishing times.

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND: with the late finishing time replying on public transport will be difficult. Ideal if you drive or live close. over 18 years old only due to late finishing times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
