Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies as they arrive. Support chefs and cooks in their daily tasks to ensure timely service. Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene at all times. Assist with any additional duties as required by the kitchen team.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential. A keen interest in food preparation and the hospitality industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.24-12.55 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
