Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients as directed by chefs.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all areas are tidy and hygienic.
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly to support continuous kitchen operations.
Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper labelling and rotation to maintain freshness.
Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as required.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills will be advantageous.
Experience in hospitality or culinary roles will be considered a plus.
