We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting culinary staff, and ensuring a smooth operation. Duties
Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors
Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and kitchen equipment
Organising stock and ensuring supplies are stored correctly
Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with serving or other tasks as required
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a hygienic environment
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling processes within the kitchen
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or culinary activities is advantageous
Experience working in a busy kitchen or catering setting will be beneficial
Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector
