Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety. Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper rotation and labelling. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing assistance wherever needed. Ensure that all waste is disposed of correctly and that recycling procedures are followed. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is advantageous. A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well under pressure in a team setting are essential qualities. A passion for hospitality and eagerness to learn about various aspects of kitchen operations will be highly valued.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
