Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of supplies, keeping track of inventory levels. Support chefs during service by fetching ingredients and assisting with plating as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary role is advantageous but not essential. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills in food preparation and cooking. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Basic understanding of food hygiene practices is preferred. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
