We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Duties
Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking and serving.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly.
Support chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including basic cooking and serving duties.
Ensure all kitchen areas are kept tidy and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary.
Participate in cleaning schedules to maintain hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service to guests.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
