Kitchen Porter

to join our small, hardworking team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit crew and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves to keep the kitchen in top shape. No experience needed - just a great attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

As our Kitchen Porter, you'll play an essential role in keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently. Your day-to-day will include:

Washing pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to a high standard Keeping work areas and surfaces clean and tidy Assisting chefs with basic food prep and supporting the team during busy service Emptying bins and ensuring the kitchen is safe and hygienic Helping with deliveries and storing ingredients correctly Assisting in maintaining stock levels and reporting any shortages to management Contributing to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues
You'll be an important part of the kitchen team, making sure everything is ready for service and that the chefs can focus on cooking great food.

Qualifications

No previous kitchen experience required - just reliability and a strong work ethic Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous Good attention to detail and pride in keeping things clean Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety within the kitchen
