We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. Duties
Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
Supporting chefs with ingredient organisation and stock replenishment
Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout the shift
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
Ensuring all kitchen tools and equipment are stored correctly after use
Supporting the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
Skills
Experience or interest in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality environments
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and safety procedures
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail
Previous restaurant, hotel, or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential
Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen operations
