We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and proactive

Kitchen Porter

to join our kitchen team in Liverpool. As a key part of our back-of-house operation, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and teamwork. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in supporting a busy kitchen and wants to grow within a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

:

Kitchen & Cleaning Operations



Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Operate dishwashers and ensure plates, cutlery, and cookware are cleaned and stored correctly. Support chefs by keeping workstations stocked, organised, and tidy during service. Dispose of waste safely and follow recycling procedures. Assist with basic food preparation when required.

Teamwork & Communication



Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Communicate clearly with chefs to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Maintain a positive, can-do attitude that contributes to a strong team environment.

Operational Support



Help accept and organise deliveries, ensuring correct storage and stock rotation. Follow all food hygiene, health, and safety standards in line with company policies. Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the management team.

Requirements



Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter (preferred but not essential -- full training provided). Strong work ethic with the ability to stay calm and focused during busy shifts. Good organisation and time management skills. Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team. Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices (Level 1 Food Safety Certificate beneficial).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour
