We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. Duties

Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas within the kitchen Organising and storing clean items appropriately to ensure efficient workflow Supporting the kitchen team during service periods by ensuring all necessary items are ready and available Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to promote a safe working environment Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is desirable but not mandatory Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is beneficial Familiarity with kitchen equipment and hygiene standards within hospitality environments is advantageous Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.31 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 23 per week
